3rd May – International Day against Billionaires
We call for an international day of action against billionaires! On the third of May, we will once more be taking part in #TeslaTakedown and this time also #TakedownBillionaires!
The latest results for Tesla’s financials are flabbergasting for us and devastating for Elon. Regardless of his long-term role in government, Elon is still frantically trying to hold on and is continuing to dismantle U.S. democracy and threatening democracies worldwide. And he is not alone; his “bros,” for instance, Jeff Bezos, Peter Thiel and Mark Zuckerberg, are also part of the problem. For example, after Trump was elected, Zuckerberg’s Meta donated $25 million to Trump and another million to his inauguration fund. It is not only Elon Musk supporting the downfall and attacks on democracy! It’s billionairs.
These billionaires only care about their profits; if that means supporting right wing extremists and fascists, they jump into the first row. People like Jeff Bezos and Peter Thiel built their entire “wealth” on oppressing their workers, people worldwide and destroying habitats. Now they take the next step joining forces with fascists around the world towards ongoing destruction! This is why countries in Europe, specifically the UK, Finland, and Germany, are calling for these days of action against billionaires for May 3rd! The takedown of Tesla hurts Elon Musk and demonstrates that billionaires are not invulnerable: it shows we can take them down!
