Tesla den Hahn abdrehen
The “Tesla den Hahn abdrehen” initiative is an alliance of groups and people from Brandenburg and Berlin who are campaigning against the expansion plans for the Tesla Gigafactory in Grünheide. They are demanding that politicians respect citizens’ opinions and prevent the expansion of the factory, which is located in a drinking water protection area and involves the clearing of woodland. Thousands of people have already gathered at protests to demonstrate against the environmental impact of the factory.
Wasser-Wald-Besetzung
The forest occupation Tesla Stoppen has opposed the expansion of the Gigafactory in Grünheide to protect the region’s drinking water conservation area and to stop Tesla’s exploitation of people and nature.
Disrupt Tesla
Disrupt is a coalition of groups that adhere to the idea of a just and solidary world beyond capitalism. Thousands of people took action at Disrupt Tesla in May 2024 to interrupt the car company’s capitalist destructive frenzy.
